Hi - Speak to a few companies - use links on here - for the best way forward.

Being in debt can cause a great deal of stress - you done a "fantatic thing" you have accepted there is an issue that wont go away unless you deal with it.
Be upfront /open and honest to the companies you speak to -

The CAB offer Debt advice /support as well .

Keep logged into the forum for support and advice.

It sounds like bankruptcy would be your best option since you have limited income and apparently no assets. It is nothing to be afraid of so you should get some advice. Ultimately it is only debt and you need to get restarted especially as your health is being affected.

I agree with Michael that BR may well be your best option and as you are on benefits you can get help with the fees.

I'd run things by a professional first though - visit www.iva.com for a ist of companies and reviews and give one or two a ring for free and impartial advice and they will help you.

You have made the 1st step by posting. There is a way out of the hole you find yourself in so contact a few companies and get the ball rolling. Everyone deserves a fresh start!
