Hi Casper and congratulations.
Your IVA will remain on your record for the full 6 years from the date of acceptance of your IVA.
I think you need to obtain a copy of your report from all three agencies and check that all defaults are dated from the acceptance date or before, any that are not then you should write to that creditor enclosing a copy of your cerificate and ask them to amend it. That way, if they play ball, everything should automatically drop off after the 6th year.
There are a few posters on here that are going through the clean up themselves and I am sure they will come along to advise as well.
Congratulations again!

I think you can get them online or by post and I think costs £2. Then there is the cost of sending the letters to your creditors, more if you do recorded.
I think there are companies that will do all this for you but you would probably pay a hell of a lot more for it.
I also think that you can obtain your report free for a certain amount of time before you have to pay for it but not sure how long or how it really works.

Orange - the free trial last for usually 30 days - however to need to ring cancel before time is up - otherwise they will charge the debit card (approx 6.99 per month) It is individual responsiblility to check default dates this not the credit agencies.
As mentioned sent copies of completetion certificate should be send direct to Data Controller at the company(not customer service) use a recorded delivery - as you have a paper trail

You will be only asking them to set the default dates to the date of your IVA - they will then fall off the credit report in 6 years total.

Matrix is the person - on here thats really experience is doing this and with information.
If they refuse to alter /udated records then a formal complaint to the Data Information Commissioner is the next step. But to have to follow the set procedure.
Thats why to need to approach the Data controller of individual companies, and NOT the "customer services or you be bounced all over the place"
