would i be able to arrange to get a lease car and claim it as an expense on my IVA ?

car engine mountings sound a bit rough and as i cant get credit for a new one would i be able to get it sorted for say a 3 year lease car ?

anyone with experience of if the car lease company charge more or refuse you because you are in an IVA

So long as this did not affect your ability to continue funding your IVA payments I don't see whey not, but you can expect to pay a premium whilst you are in an IVA. A lot of posters here have taken out cars with Duncton Finance, and they seem to be a good company albeit the charges are rather higher than the high street.

Hi, not that I can afford another commitment on my monthly payment plan - but I was told that you could not get any more finance whilst in an IVA? unless for Insurance, things like that??

A car lease isn't finance as such because you never own the car...its like renting it. x

I may look into leasing after my trust deed ends. I am sick of seeing people who dont work driving around in a better car than me!!!

Hi
Finance is possible in an IVA with the express agreement of your IP.
Running a new or fairly new car can actually be quite cost effective
Duncton are excellent and several forum members, including myself have used them

Duncton have had nothing but praise from this forum. If I needed a car then I would certainly give them a try.
