As those regular posters know that despite my IVA finishing last November, I have continued to pay my mum back each month and lived life as still in an IVA - well today I have finally made the last payment to her and I can proudly say for the first time in 20 years, apart from the mortgage, I am completely - that is we are - debt free !
I intend to continue to live life to a budget, whilst expanding the allowances slightly !
I have made one extravagant purchase over the weekend - 2 week holiday in August 2012 to Lanzarote All Inclusive for my 40th Birthday next year - that is it - no more extra's for me !
We save for what we want and only when we have the money do we have them!!!

Well done Lulu - you must feel very proud. Hope you thoroughly enjoy Lanzarote! We have relatives living there and know the Island quite well so do feel envious. Very happy for you x
