A few of you will remember me from a few months back. Sorry for the absence but things have been a bit hectic, and the computer caused problems. But alas I am back to offer support to those who helped me and the newcomers.
I completed the IVA in March, and oh how things move on at a pace. Now well and truly back in the groove. Looking back It was one the best 5 years of my life in a strange sort of way. I learn't a lot, and got sorted out. So if you are just starting out look at the positives, the time will pass quickly, you are on the way to better things, you have nothing to feel ashamed about we all make mistakes. 6 years ago i was £48000 in debt, doing a job i hated because it was well paid and i needed it to get through the IVA despite all health issues it carried. Today i have no debts except the mortgage, a newish (4 year old) car which is paid for with no credit, and a new job as a technical teacher in a local college. The salary is a bit less than i had, but there is not a lot of difference in the take home pay, and what difference there is has been more than compensated for because i have also stopped smoking. So when you get to the end of your IVA the future is bright, brighter than i can ever explain, you need to sample it for yourselves, and sample it you will.
If 6 years ago someone had have told me that i would be in the position that i am in now, i would have had them sectioned.
regards........Howard
