I am in the 3rd year of my IVA. If my wife takes voluntary redundancy in the next few months,(after over 24 years), would my IVA company expect some of the redundancy payment to go towards paying the IVA?

Hi there Colin and welcome to the forum,
I am sure someone will be along shortly to answer your question as I am no expert. Would you be in a position to maybe offer a F&F with your wife's redundancy as maybe this could be an option for you

Hi

I am not an expert But as the IVA is individual to you then I think not unless you are both included in the IVA As above if your wife gers a good sum of cash then you can maybe offer to complete the IVA Or keep her money and just carry on as you are at year 3 it will soon pass
see what the experts advise you here
As your wife is being made redundant then she maybe looking for a new job for quite some time So if you did pay off the IVA then you would maybe both short on cash
give it some thought : )
