You could answer them and tell them to get lost and remove your number from their database.
They will more than likely be ambulance chasers.
You could always have your landline number changed and go ex directory. That would get rid of them.

Don't know where they have your number from then - sign up to the TPS and hopefully that will put a stop to it.
I'm ex d as well and have never had any calls like this.

We're ex directory and get cold calls. Don't forget that if you give some companies your number they will pass it on to other companies.

This is why I don't do it anymore - any website that wants my number gets either a 1 and a load of zero's or one with consecutive numbers.

I've had calls from these time wasters but the next one I speak to will be told I have tourettes (I don't) so not to take any remarks personally, see how long the call lasts then [}:)][}:)]

I'd tell them where to go and make no apologies for it!

Next time they call get them to call your IP instead. I would love to have a conversation with a member of their team!

Frumpy dog, have you considered contacting the trading standards to get advice on unsolicited contact with these types of companies?
I would throw the book at them if I had my way....
Regards
Mark
