Hello all
My iva went through in febuary with no problems. Before the iva i had a ccj from black horse. I had been paying this through a debt managment plan before the iva. Last week a attachment of earnings arrived at my employers from black horse. I informed my IP who got back to me very quickly to say black horse had made a mistake and would cancell it. I get paid this week and my work will deduct this as they have not been told otherwise. Will I get this money back? Is there anything else I can do? Thankyou

Hi and welcome.

No idea about this - perhaps your IP can have a word with Black Horse about it.

Hopefully one of the experts can advise further.

Is the ccj being paid alongside the iva?

Hi Simon

If the debt was included within the IVA, you need to discuss with your IP ASAP.

Either way, it's unlikely you will see any reduction in contributions but I hope your IP is able to help resolve.

Regards

Mark

I think Simon just wants the payment back from the attachment of earnings. Hopefully he can get that sorted.

Thanks for replys. The debt was included in the IVA and Black Horse have admitted there mistake, I just want the extra money back. I will ask work if they can delay paying the money to the court for a week or so
