I have recently finished my iva after my parents offered to pay a final offer fee. When should I start checking through my credit report?

Haveya - i assume your IVA finished early - regardless this will be on your credit report for six years
You may want to wait for your certificate to come through - check all 3 reports for any default dates registered after the IVA start date - if any write to the data controller at each company and ask for the defaults to be amended/removed (enclose a copy of your certificate). Then unfortunately its a matter of waiting 6 years until the IVA drops off the credit report and time to rebuild a postive report

Hi Harvey
As Ginger says, you need to get your Credit Files and write to all companies that have defaulted your loans and credit cards to amend/satisfy.
The only additional suggestion is to ensure the default dates start from when you enter the IVA as in some cases, some creditors will amend your file much later than the start date. In my case it was 8 months with one creditor and wrote to them saying it is unfair practise according to the ICO and the data protection act.
So I would do all of this at the same time.
Well done for ending and wish you the very best for the future.
