Is it a coincidence that this week I got my completion certificate (Hurrah!) and Vanquis send me a "you've been pre-selected" application form? Have they picked up my details from somewhere? I completed via a f+f so got another 2 years before it drops off my file.

Vanquis continued to send me emails while in our IVA saying we had been selected for a new start - the fact they were included in our IVA made me giggle !
When our IVA finished and we had our certificate I received an email offering again...so this time I did enquire as we wanted one card for emergencies ...we made the application and we were rejected due to the IVA being on our record !

So what I am saying is - the emails they send out are not worth the paper they are written on !

We have now gone with a pre-paid card and all is working well !

I get them all the time for various companies - just hit the delete button!!!!!!!!

Thanks Guys. I have no intention of responding. Was cynical about credit companies luring us in again. Learning to budget means I don't see the need for credit right now and can manage on what I have. Thanks to the f+f that's come earlier then anticipated. Not sure it's sunk in yet as I keep having to open the completion certificate to check it's real!
