I am in an IVA with Grant Thornton. I have received a letter from them today saying that they are pleased to inform me that the variation to my IVA arrangements were accepted at a recent meeting with my creditors. Further details in the letter which includes a header titled Resolution 1. Accepted with Mods. All of this to me is quite mind blowing and I have no idea what is going on. I have made three calls to Grant Thornton and their Variation Team but my calls have yet to be returned. Can you throw some light on this please as to whats has actually gone on...Many thanks

For two days now I have been calling Grant Thornton trying to get put through to the Variations Team. Each time I call, I am placed on hold for a considerable amount of time only to be told that the Variation Team are busy and that I should leave my contact details and will be called back. I have yet to receive any callback and have now sent an email. As you can imagine this is very frustrating when really all i'm after is someone to explain the contents of the letter minus the legal jargon..

Hope you get some answers soon.

Just thought I would post an update - Chris had his variation approved and creditors have accepted a full and final settlement of funds paid to date.
