Ours is worked out monthly as per our wage pattern.

This is something to be discussed with your IP. It may be worked out on a weekly basis or they may be working out your wages on a four weekly basis.

Agree with kazza - you need to speak to your IP about it. I've no idea how they do things when people are paid weekly.

I was paid weekly but my original I+E was worked out on a monthly average.
Overtime calculations were always based on a monthly salary, probably best to check with your IP though.

Hi Kev59

Why does your wage fluctuate? Is it because you work different hours or get paid different amounts of overtime / bonuses? If the former then you need to work with your IP to use a reasonable average. If the latter then you need to base your income on your basic wage. Extra monies earned will the be covered by the 50% rule. Once you arrive at a sensible sustainable weekly figure, remember to x by 52 and divide by 12 to get an average month. (multiplying by 4.33 is virtually the same thing).

I work different hour each week on a 14 week rota.
now all worked with my iva company on a 55 hour week.
The one week in 14 that I get 62 hours will make up for the week I only get 47 hours.
now im happy with my iva payment,

You may be lucky and get a meeting just before Christmas or between Christmas and New Year.
