Just completed are 1st annual review without any problems, answered some questions over the phone and that was it, just received our report through the post and payments are staying as they are. The last 12 months have flown and look forward to next Xmas. Anyone who is concerned about taking an IVA all we can say is it is hard trying to keep in budget, how ever its great not having to worry credit card and loan demands coming through the door. I think the key to survival is saving for those miss haps, we will be definately saving for next xmas as we struggled this year but lesson learnt.[:)] happy xmas to all and a prosperous new year to those who's IVA's are ending in 2012.

a good tip there, we planned for xmas this year and managed to save for all our food so that has been one less headache, although i did underestimate just how much xmas food costs these days, previous years I slapped it all on a credit card and never gave it a thought!

I totally agree about not using credit, it's a wonderful feeling, Christmas all paid for by our very own cash.
Good news about your review, hope the remainder of your IVA runs smoothly for you x

Well done on your first year ! The first year is the hardest and you have reached that goal.
We found it necessary to set ourselves little goals to make us strive to achieve them - we would give ourselves a budget for food 10quid less than our allowance each week so that when we got to the checkout we knew we had sufficient to deal with the ad-hocs that inevitabily go in the trolley !
Good luck for year 2 !!
