Hi moneypenny,

Sorry that your IVA failed. Unfortunately it will remain on your record for six years from aceptance. There is no such thing as a free credit history site.

Why did your IVA fail? Can you propose another one?

Hi Kallis, I havnt posted here since 2010, we couldnt manage the IVA, so wrote to them telling them we were going to fail. In 18months paid in over £3000 but none went to creditors.
£3164.53 paid in, plus upfront fees.

Bank Charges 22.75
Bond 46.00
Disbursments 80.39
Dividend 811.27
Legal fees 56.00
Nominees fee 1900.00
Rgeistration of IVA 30.00
Supervisor fee 218.12 Total £3164.53

we are now with Debt solutions south west, we payy £100 a month. Just trying to get our credit history at the moment, as my husband couldnt get a contract phone.
We are also splitting up, mutual parting though.

Unfortunately the first payments you make will go to your IP company.

As Paul asks - what are you going to do now?

What are you doing now moneypenny? Are you in a DMP? Have you thought of bankruptcy?

Is that a dmp? How much is going on fees and is all the interest frozen or are the debt getting bigger??

Paul

the fees were £600 the interest is frozen, and thats for both of us. We just pay £100 between us. Some of the debt has been written off, and some have been negotiated for a smaller sum.

so does your £100 a month ALL go to reducing the debts,I would imagine the company would take a fee per month to run things?

15% off of any debts written off and reduced sums. There are no other charges.

With your credit record, it will cost you £2 to get a copy from each of the agencies or you could sign up to the free 30 day trial from Experian if you have a debit card and then cancel afterwards.

There is this one:

http://www.annualcreditreport.co.uk/

It is very basic though and if you want to look at things in detail you would have to pay.
