hi
i entered a iva in 2004 which was completed in 2009,i received a paper copy of the completion note but i have been told that i should have a certified original?
can you please advise me

Hi and welcome
As far as I know you should just have received a letter telling your that you had complied with the IVA and it was now completed.
I don't think there is anything else.

Hi Denis. Who has told you that you need a certified original ?
What you will have (or should have had) is a simple letter from your IP stating that you have complied with the terms of your IVA and it has been dischrged. This will be the original.
Could it be that you have been asked for a certified COPY, which is simply a photocopy of the original with an endorsment to the Effect, " I certify that this is a true and complete copy of the original"

Hi,
Mine completed in Jan 2011 and I have managed to get everything sorted with just the paper copy/letter type thing. Looks nothing like a cert but it seems to do the trick.
