As it says really, has anyone had any experience of this company? I made my last payment on my IVA on Tuesday and have been accepted for a car loan by this company today with an APR of 13%, which they've said will fluctuate depending how many years I take the loan over...

I personally haven't heard of them but that interest rate is quite good.

Hi Rach - I've not heard of them but the reviews on the net look ok. Let us know how you get on!

I hadn't but found them on the internet last night and looked at some reviews - they sound almost too good to be true, so thought I'd check on here too. They had my credit report in front of them with the IVA still showing as active, but have still approved me with that APR rate.
The guy I spoke to said that they're an online car dealer with lenders for bad credit, so they have their own car stock and will find whatever car you want.
Looking at all the information I could find, they are based in Manchester and the cars have to be collected from there when you sign all the paperwork(or they can deliver for about £200). They give you 7 days free insurance and all cars come with 12 months MOT and are serviced.

They don't allow you to buy a car from another dealer as they cannot guarantee the quality of them and they have high standards apparently!

They sound ok. Pity we don't appear to have anyone who has ever used them.

Could be a useful find -- looking forward to an update

That's what I thought Foggy! Had spoken to CarLoans4U and looked at Moneybarn and it didn't look too good with them, and their APR was 42!
I'm just taking my time in replying to their request for my proof of identity etc until I've found a little bit more out about them.
Will keep you posted...

How much does the APR fluctuate? I think the 13% is to reel you in! Are the cars on offer at comparable prices to normal garages?

Not sure Paul - they said 13% is what the lender is offering me and I did say I was surprised due to the IVA. Apparently, at this stage, I'm still under no obligation, so will get as much info as I can.
Take a look and see what you think:

Thanks orange. CarLoan4U didn't really seem that helpful - just more or less said no without a 15-20% deposit.

I am desperate for a car as mine is just chugging along nowadays and won't go through the next MOT due soon. Where's the best place to seek advice? There's no-one else who could lend me the money unfortunately.
