Not sure how FJ work. I know that Payplan do all their annual reviews over the phone but each IP works differently.

I was with DFD and they would just send out my annual review statement about 4-8 weeks after the review. It would detail and payment increases I needed to make. Dont worry this will only happen if your expenditure is lower than when you took the IVA out or you have had a decent pay rise

Is this the first you would know about it though 4-8 weeks later?

I believe that they have two months in which to complete a review. Some do it quicker than others.

Hi, I'm with freeman jones and they usually do the annual reviews over the phone and then you get a letter confirming whether any changes/increase/decrease have been agreed or whether things stay the same. It does take a while, I usually get a call a couple of weeks after my documents have come back x

I usually get calls from DFD to advise if it was staying the same, or increasing payements etc then also the chairmans report within the 8 weeks which is a copy of the letter/statement sent to oyur creditors.

Hi Claire03 - just to clarify for Benny333's sake - do you know by the end of the phone call though what changes there would be as you wouldn't want to be left waiting for the outcome in a letter without knowing beforehand?
Thanks.

Hi benny
Thanks for your question. The short answer is that it depends!
If you’ve sent us everything that we need for the Annual Review and there are going to be no changes to your payments then everything should be straightforward and we don’t need to speak to you. Your relationship manager will put together your annual report and pass it to your IP for approval. We’ll then send you a copy along with your creditors.
However, all Freeman Jones clients are offered a review every six months, and this is quite likely to coincide with your Annual Review date, in which case we’ll call you anyway – just to check that all is running smoothly for you.
If there are changes to your I&E (for example higher heating bills, backed up with the gas bills to prove it, or changes to your income) then we be in touch by phone and in writing.
In terms of timings we do tend to send out all the Annual Review paperwork six weeks or so before the review is due. If you’ve returned everything very promptly you may find that a few weeks elapse before you hear back from us.
Sorry that’s a bit long winded – I hope that helps! If you have any other concerns please do just give us a call.
Ian
