I am almost finished paying me IVA & will be making my final payment in July this year.

I am also looking to rent a property once the IVA has been paid.

If my father acts as a guarantor (who is very comfortable financially) will I be able to find a property to rent either privately or through an estate agents??

Well done for getting to the end - must be a great feeling to know that you've not long to go now.

I don't see any reason why you can't rent a property, especially if your father is willing to act as guarantor.

I don't see a problem too. A guarantor is as good as their credit and I am sure you will be fine. Good luck

My father was a guarantor for all of my rented flats during my IVA. You should be fine
