I can't comment on them as to whether they are good or bad, save to say that I believe they are a DMP firm and do not arrange IVA's directly. If that is the case, then it may be better to approach an IP firm directly. Visit
www.iva.com and speak to 2 or 3 firms and then go from there.
Regards.

I would recommend Debt Free Direct for several reasons, namely 1) very helpful if circumstances change part way through IVA eg my income dropped by approx 40% & they worked a solution with creditors 2) they respond quickly to annual reviews & often get back to you within a week of posting review paperwork info off 3) staff on end of phone are very friendly
I have no experience of the other IVA companies, however can also say that Melanie Giles who also posts on here has superb reviews from her clients, all of whom seem to have a superb rapport with her.
Hope this helps

as size 5 says use iva.com to get reviews on firms or browse some more of this place and you will get a feel for who is good and who to avoid.

Follow the link Size5 gave and speak to a couple of companies. That way your friend can get a feeel for how they work and go with the firm she is most comfortable with, as it is a personal relationship over 5 years.
We could all give good and bad experiences, but one size does not fit all. One man's meat etc .......

from my own experiencs I would recommend McCambridge Duffy in an instant, they have been very quick to respond to my emails or telephone calls, any issues I have had have been dealt with within a day or two or if longer I have been kept in the loop ( not that I have had many, more like I have just worried when i needn't have but they have been there no matter what)and I feel I am treated like a human being and not just another person on their database, if that makes sense.
Just think it helps to get some things straight from the horses mouth.....so to speak

Hi Loulou - welcome to the forum. I echo what the others have said about the comparison website size5 refers you to - this will give her some client reviews to look at - she can then phone a couple of companies to get a feel for herslef where she feels most confident moving forward.
Sorry to read you have had trouble with your own company - we 're all here to support everyone, whichever company you are with so hope you stay on the forum as and when you need support or advice for yourself as well.

I just saw advert on television, rang them and that was that. Wish I had looked into it more now. I would not recommend Debt Free Direct as they are not the most helpful

I'm personally with Melanie Giles but would always encourage you to ring around and talk to 2 or 3 companies. x
