Hi All,

After consuiltation with Mel it's been decided that this years FF summer do will be on Saturday 7th July at my house in the Midlands as usual.

Melanie Giles will be very kindly funding food and drink so all people have to do is get here and of course, if you are new and don't know where I live, I will email full details.

Adults only (partners are obviously allowed!!) as we only have a certain amount of space, especially if it's wet, and there will be 3/4 dogs here (depends if my daughter and son in law are here). The dogs are friendly but do tend to be boisterous as previous attendees will confirm so not good for kids!

Let me know if you are interested and, if you are and wish to stay overnight somewhere then I can furnish you with details of accommodation nearby. Hubby is available to pick up and drop off from nearby hotels/bb so you can have a drink without any worries.

Hi Jan

Great news and please pencil me in to attend. I'm away with work on the 6th, not sure where yet, but if it's nearby I may stay at a hotel near you on the Friday night.

Can you send me details of nice hotels close by please?

Thanks and thanks to Mel for sponsoring the "do".

X

Could you please add my name to your list. I will require some accommodation, but will confirm that later. Please let me have details of hotels/guest houses close by.

I'm going to have to let you know nearer the time if that's ok Jan? We're on holiday the week before and money is going to be a bit tight. Hopefully we'll make it though!

Brilliant news Julie - be good to see you again. Will hubby be coming this time?

KAYKAY - I'll sort out hotels/b&b and send you a link to them. Will it be one or two?

I don't think hubby will be able to come, he normally works on the weekends and of course we have Dobby to consider [:)]

Me and my partner are not members of frugal friends (not sure how to join) but would love to meet people like ourselves who had similar experiences - are we still able to attend?

You don't have to be a frugal friend as such Benny - all forum members are welcome.

Kazza - be lovely to meet you but quite understand if your health doesn't permit.

True!! I will sort out details for local hotels etc and post them to anyone who needs them. Give me a bit of time as I'm at work this afternoon and tomorrow and then only Sunday off to do my normal chores and back on Monday but.......next weekend is my long weekend so I will do some research then.

Where in the Midlands are you Jan? I always said if I was retired I would go back to Hoar Cross Hall for one last pamper - so I may do the 2 together
