Hi and welcome.

If this is your best offer then it may well be.

Have you already spoken to an IP?

Hi and welcome to the forum. As Kallis says if it's the best offfer on the table and gives a better return than bankruptcy then it could well do. When in an IVA there is the possibility of uplift payments i.e if work overtime or receive a windfall and that will increase that dividend.

I have spoken to an IP and this is their suggestion, just seems very low but it's all I have spare. Plus i own a property which i may have to remortgage. i guess this will make it look slightly better

Which company have you spoken to?

With the remortgage clause you will probably find that you won't be able to get a remortgage and your iva will usually continue on for a further twelve months but your ip should explain this to you

Yes, I'm with Payplan. They have been having a bit of a hard time on here recently but I've not had many problems with them at all.

I got 6p in the £ accepted last week, and have put forward 4p in the £ today which I am hopeful of acceptance, so you should be OK with your own offer so long as it is the best possible. Good luck!

Good luck Saladfingers and welcome to the forum. Payplan wouldn't be suggesting an iva if they weren't confident it would be accepted so you have as good a chance as any!
