A great story - but what reasons were given to creditors for the early settlement and what was the difference in the dividend you originally offered and the one which as eventually returned as a matter of interest?

What was Ryans part in all this,I thought he did mortgage advice only? And you say you are going for a mortgage in 6 months so I assume you didnt settle via a remortgage?
Just trying to understand why everyone wouldnt just do the same thing.

Well done Whoopa, that was a great post to read. It really does make you wonder what your creditors are prepared to except to finnish IVA's.
Yet on here we read a lot about IVA companys/ IP's being reluctant to put foward full and final offers.I wonder why that is? Is it a loss of fees?
Its nice to know there are advisers around who are not always looking out for their intrests.
Well done and enjoy your future being debt free.

so should the inheritance not have gone into the IVA pot?
I am a little confused as to why creditors would accept ending things early but perhaps thats something you do not want to share which is fair enough, you may well have good reasons not to.
