Hi i wondered if any one can clear up how the process of completing a final A completion review..... this was what was sent to me about it. A review will take place to determine that all assets and obligations have been satisfied by both yourself and the Supervisor of the Arrangement.
can you generally let me know how long this takes? ive been told that all my payments are in and that all creditors claims are up to date and final which should make it close alot quicker. any help would be great.
thanks matt

It really depends on who your IP firm is and if there are any reasons to hold up completion such as PPI or VAT. You need to speak to your own IP but in normal situations the file should be closed within about a month of the final payment.

Hi michael. im with GT and have been sent a letter and also been told on the phone that once the review has been done over thenext wk or so my cc should be with me july, early Aug. my question was really how long does a review take if all creditors have made there claim and that is all up to date and as ive been told will push threw the closure quicker. nothing else has been mentioned and i have had a letter from my IP stating that all payments on my IVA have been recieved and he is now getting my case for closure which should take no longer than six months.

It is very simple to close the file and no IP firm wants to keep them open for longer than necessary. The final review should only take minutes and then the file goes to finance for final dividend payments. A month is plenty of time to close a file.
