Hi
Finally we have the ball rolling for a full & final settlement set, 11th June! Yikes!
Hubby being made redundant and we have offered £10K. IVA only been running since Oct 2011 but we have paid in PPI funds as well. Originally they would get 45p to the £ with this it will be 53p - do u think this is a good thing?? or not as its a fairly new IVA.. we are soooo nervous!!!!

It's a good offer and the creditors get their money 4.5 years earlier.
We put PPI funds in also to help fund a f&f and ours was accepted (at 16p in the £).
Good luck and make sure you let us know how it goes.

Your IP would not out it forward if they felt it would be rejected by creditors.
I presume you have sufficient money to live on once this as been pai out until new employment has been found, if not already ?

Luluj - we will be keeping 2months worth of wages to keep us going! Not a huge amount but we would rather the IVA be cleared!! we are gratefully in a position that we can both look for work as im currently on Maternity leave so could find another job (or my current employers have said i can have my job back - as i handed my notice in! - although only part time) and the other can look after the kids!!! Just the thought of debt free makes me smile and see a brighter future!!! xx

lets hope! and yes my employers have been great.. (they dont know bout IVA but my hubby redundancy)

Fingers crossed Norabee, is sounds like a great offer to me. My was a lot lower and got accepted and I was also only a year or so into the IVA. Will be thinking of you and looking forward to hearing from you on the day, Rich x

It certainly is I can't believe we are almost in June already, although the quicker this year goes the better for me.
