hi, hope a expert from GT picks this up,my spouse and i have completed our 5 yrs actually still paying so have completed 62 payments,we had a review in march everything ok so was just waiting for a letter or phone call to confirm we can stop making payments and go to closure, still waiting! spoke to custumer services today and a gentleman said it looked like we should be for'closing but there wasnt anything on is system,he was going to send a email to the closure dept and i should phone back in a week, hope we are not getting the runaround as we havnt had a bad word to say about GT so far,we understand closure can take awhile but the confirmation that we have finished our part would mean we can sleep at night again, forgot to say we never missed any payments and met our % in the pound and we have no ppi claims pending, any advise would be welcome

Hello,
Send an email to Karol who posts on here - the details can be found under the 'Ask a Question' link on the left hand side of the page. She is very good at sorting things out.

Hi mouseyf,
As Harpic says Karol is pretty good at dealing with queries brought to her attention however I would also be inclined to email the GT closure team directly using this email address -
iva.closures@uk.gt.com.
I have recently used this email and the reply came back quite quickly.
Hope this helps and let us know how you get on.

Why have you paid more payments than you need to? I suggest you give your bank immediate instructions to cancel the direct debit if your IVA was only set to run over 60 months.

Good luck mouseyf with the completion, I would also be asking GT when you can have those 2 extra payments back.
