Hay all

Can someone give me some guidance please. Im now 3 months post final payment and DfD are not really playing ball. Firstly i was told i would be involved in the mass variation stuff then told i wasn’t as my case was after the cut off point so is currently sat in a dark room gathering dust [:(!] then told it could be sorted and it would take 21 days to produce the variation letter and i would have it by may (this of course didnt happen and was then told this could not happen!![:0])

Ive been speaking with the DfD customer care team for the last few days trying to get an update, ive also spoken with Declan too via email, it seems no one as yet can still give me a time scale of when the next variation meeting will be taking place so i can at least have a wild shot in the dark when completion can finally take place (the IVA currently has many implications on my personal and professional life and needs to be completed ASAP!)[|)]

To be fair someone did call me back yesterday but I was unable to take her call, so today I rang back and spoke to a very curt lady who was so unhelpful its as if she went to school to learn how to be unhelpful![xx(] However what really concerned me was after getting the same answer (which didn’t actually answer anything) I requested to speak with my IP to which I was told “Customers are not allowed to speak with their ip….their far to busy”! I then requested again to speak with him and told “we are employed to answer on their behalf” basically she was saying there is no way your speaking with him!! Now surely someone who represent you financially and potentially legally ?!? you have a right to speak with?!?

Im absolutely fuming at the attitude and response from this lady and now quite concerned that I seem to have no right to speak with my IP Richard Savage!!!!

Perhaps Declan could give us some insight into the comment "Customers are not allowed to speak with their IP - they are far too busy". IVAs are personal appointments to those IPs, and if you want to speak to them then that is your right.

Thats what i said to her Mel but was told on several occasions she was 'appointed' to act on their behalf, thats why she was employed!!! I questeioned with her i have the right to speak with the person appointed as my Ip.....i was not i was told!!

this is like when you go to the Dr's and you cant get through the bulldog receptionist at the front, when i go to my doctors i want assessing and treating by a medical professional!

im so angry with them!!

I have often emailed my IP at DFD directly and she has always emailed me personally back - often at very late hours of the day I'm grateful to say x

Hi
I was meant to pick this up on Friday but was caught up with some urgent case work. Arty - i am concerned about this response you were given and will investigate internally. I know there is a lot of issues flying about regarding case closures and PPI activity which I am going to address shortly.

Thanks

I often wonder if the IPs concerned actually know that these comments are being made by their staff on their behalf. Perhaps it would be a good idea to bring this to his attention when you do eventually get to chat through things with him.
