Hi.
I have recieved an email from GT closures today informing me that all creditors have now been payed in full, final administration now being done and my closure documents will be issued by the end of this week.
Just feeling so glad and relieved that I can now see the end in sight as it has been quite a long wait.

Thanks
I was going to wait to post until I had the certificate in hand but I just couldnt.
Im also glad that the weather is nice because some of the post I have recieved over the last few weeks has been delivered in quite a soggy state. That would be just my luck, a wet completion certificate!

Was your last payment April 2011 or is that a typing error?
If it's correct 15 months is an awful long time to have waited for completion

No, not a typing error.
Last payment was April 2011 but it didnt go to closures until August due to a small error left from Blair Endersby when my file was transfered to GT.

Hi Stormylv
Mate can you post when you stop showing on the Insolvency Register please. Really really keen to know how long that takes GT to remove after a completion certificate is issue.
Thanks

Hi
allancsn - yes I will post as I will be checking everyday but judging by looking at previous posts (including GT closures) I assume it takes around 2 weeks.
Thanks vixster, it looks like I will be a week behind you if they keep their promise!

Hi,
Stormsylv, Glad you have posted it takes about 2 weeks for the IVA to disappear off Insolvency register. I have been checking each day, but didn't know how long it took.

Well done! I bet you are over the moon!
My IVA was settled by F&F settlement at the end of June. I called my IP today for an update as to be honest I have found that whole thing to be rather vauge. The funds were sent over the them the next day but sonce then I have heard nothing. My IP said that the VAT refund issues they have been having have put all the closed cases behind and there is a delay in sending out the certificates. I have been told it may take another 3 months for this.
So until then does that still mean I am bound by my IVA?
They don't communicate very well after they take the settlement payment do they?
I just want my certificate and for my name to be dropped off the IVA register.
Well done again!!
