am i in trouble?
as part of my agreement with my IVA company i have to let them know if i get a bonus at work. each christmas for the last couple of years i have but Christmas 2011 my father died and because none of the rest of my family have any money i used my bonus money on the funeral. because of the termoil this went totally off the radar until now. i am due my annual review this month and now i am panicking and also for the first time ever they want to see bank statements do you think it is because they know they are missing the bonus money. i keep being sick im that worried

Hi and welcome to the forum.

First of all I'm so sorry about your Father. I would suggest you contact your IP and explain what has happened. It's in no one's interest for your IVA to fail so I'm sure they will work with you to sort this out.

Hiya, surely common sense should prevail and your situation looked at with the compassion it deserves, at the worst they will ask u to maybe pay it bak over a period of time, I really wouldnt lose sleep over it x

The money will still be due to the IVA, but given the very sad circumstances you have described, it is likely that you will be allowed additional time to pay this off at the end of the IVA.
