we have just completed 1 year of our iva. My husband works shifts and we were advised not to include his shift allowance as an income (even though it was clear from the payslips that this was a regular part of his income). We now have to pay £2000 based on this and our payments are being increased by nearly £200. We are at our wits end as we will find it hard to find this extra money.

Whilst it may not have been included in your original I&E it is income and some of it will have to be paid across.

You need to check your paperwork and speak to your IP asap to try and sort this out.
