Hi all

I made the final payment of my IVA in January this year, it went over 6 months which was agreed following car trouble which reduced my payments for a few months. I dont own a property and everything went smoothly with the IVA and payments.

My querie is, is that i have not heard anything from my IP. i rang them in April/May to see what happens next and they said it takes time to complete everything and this should be done in 12 weeks.

I still have not heard anything? is this the normal time frame or should i get on the phone to them again? I am with Grant Thornton.

Thanks

Hi

Grant Thornton are massively back logged with closures. I completed in sept'11 and only got my completion letter last week.

All I can say is keep the preassure on them with calls and emails and ask for a definitive time frame for completion.

Good luck

You will have to wait a while longer - as gizmo says, GT are way behind with closures due to PPI and VAT issues.

I think you are just going to have to be patient.

I will continue to email and ring then, hopefully it will be completed by the end of the year!
