Hi, I posted earlier this week but it didn,t appear. We completed payments with dfd oct 2011, I asked dfd if we should cancel dd they said we could, we never heard from them again until April 2012 when my husband wrote ( we couldnt get through on the phone) they sent us back the EIC forms which we returned, none was missold, we then emailed Declan and we thought things were now moving as we were informed of the variation meeting in May we were sent a letter to say this was successful and we should receive cc within eight weeks, that deadline has now passed and still nothing. DFD know why we need the cc we care for a very sick daughter and she can no longer manage the stairs we need to move to a more suitable property and until this is sorted we cant do anything, i have seen on here mention of a closure dept do dfd have on? if so does anyone know the email address, thanks

EJoinson@fairpoint.co.uk try this one. I got my cc 28th june. Had my variation around the same time as you. You have to keep up the pressure. Constant emails to your ip too otherwise you get nowhere with them. Hope emma helps you. She was great for me.

I'm still waiting too since Nov 2011.. They should get penalised or fined in order to get their act together. They cant be allowed to make customers wait so long.. They seem to have enough staff for gettin new clients in and ensuring every penny is handed over but at the end they dont give a hoot ... Total joke of a company which i would never recommend to anyone !!

.. And Declan seems to have dropped off the face of the earth too for some reason.. No replies to any posts on here or to emails sent directly to him

Last payment was 4 months ago and the variation needed to begin closure 7,wks ago , so I'm intereted to seeif you make progress , as I may follow your lead if you get a result, or should I sayb, certificate !

Not hard anything back yet, i will email again today and every day if need be. Maybe we should have made more of a fuss but we thought things would just run there course and it would end within a reasonable time and as i have mentioned we have other things to worry about at the moment. will keep you posted

The frustration you experience must be unbearable, well it would be for me. It is unfair when we've all made contractual payments, windfalls and uplifts during the course of the IVA x

I wonder where Declan is? He could be on holiday of course but it does seem strange that we've not seen him at all for a while.

Unfortunately the new DFD of 2012, is a poor relation of the DFD that saw me through the first 5.5 years of my 6 yrs IVA

Im of the opinion we are now all profit/cost centres and not individual clients.

Hi, dont know whats happening to my posts, they dont always appear, i did update on weds but it hasnt come up. Emma has emailed she said she will forward my email to the closure team and they should contact us directly, that was Tuesday, nothing yet. I did explain my reasons again,we just want to concentrate on our daughters health which has deteriorated over the last few months. I gave up my job last sept to care for her and just want this ended so its one less thing to worry about. Thanks for letting me have a moan x

That is progress though actually getting a reply from Emma. I suspect that as your ip has asked closures to contact you then this will actually happen, even if not in quite the timely manner you hope for

I do think that if Declan is not going to post on the forum any more that either he, or Andy, ought to make a statement just to keep everyone informed. He has done great work for DFD clients in the past, but if their policy is now not to have a forum presence then it would be good to know that so we stop referring clients to him.
