Why is it when my brother wishes to speak with his IP supervisor at DFD he gets fobbed off and is put through to a supervisor at DFD who is not a qualifed IP supervisor and make decision within his IVA. I am in the process of claiming PPI on my brothers behalf and for my time and effort I wish to claim a percentage for each successful claim, I have made percentage based on the claims management company Equity in Finance which DFD had advised my brother to use. DFD have tried to negotiate my percentage and I feel they have no right too without liaising with my brothers IP and also the fact that the claims management company they were advising him to use were asking for the same percentage ammount. Just to state my brother has completed his IVA and his no completion certificate. I believe DFD are purposely preventing my brother from speaking to his IP direct. Should my brother have irect access to speak to his IP direct as my brother feel DFD are being sly.

Could Declan please explain to the numerous DFD posters who regularly request direct contact with their IP why this is not possible please?

Are you licenced by the Ministry of Justice as a claims management company?

I was assured this would be sorted and the member of staff who refused me contact would be sorted....seem not! it was only using the direct email address to my IP it finally got sorted (kind of!!)

Declan is no longer listed as a forum expert, there is no longer any representation from DFD in the list of forum experts.

I've just looked and he is still there but hasn't posted since the middle of July. I suspect that he is very busy and may also have been on holiday, to be honest he has put himself in the firing line for many disgruntled people which to be fair isn't fair on him. I hope he is soon posting back soon.

I feel the expert status is removed when you've not posted for a while. Hopefully Declan will return when he is ready as it's good to have a representative from a big company on the forum.
