Is anyone on here getting their certificate of completion through from Nuttalls. My IVA finished in January 2011, I was a little behind and made my final payment in June. I know that VAT slowed things down but 12 months later it's getting a little silly !

It's becoming an ever increasing problem, Richard. Hopefully Gareth will see this and advise.

That does seem to be an incredibly long time to wait for a Completion Certificate. Have you asked Varden Nuttal what exactly is holding things up and what their expected timeline is for closure?

I've also been waiting since November 2011... emailed them asking what the current position is but not yet had a response.

Hi all,

If any client of Varden Nuttall would like an update on their specific case then please contact me on gareth.buckley@vardennutall.co.uk and I will get back to you asap. Alternatively you can contact your case administrator who will also be able to give you an update.

Hope this helps.

I've just spoken with Joanne and she informed me that they're just waiting on the PPI issue before they can finalise completion.
Creditors have asked them to look into PPI claims to see if there is anything else in it for them. Hopefully, it won't be much longer now...

okay so now I'm told they can't complete due to PPI. I'm disgusted as I've heard nothing from them since March when they stated they were just waiting VAT claims. I have never been mis-sold PPI, I always requested it to ensure I was covered. Can I be forced to make a false claim ?

No - you cannot and will no be forced to make a false claim. If you are adament that you were not mis-sold PPI, you should let them know and your case ought to be able to be closed fairly quickly.
