Grant Thornton are starting to sort things out. They, along with all the other IP's, have had to deal with PPI and VAT claims.

You may wish to speak to Karol from there who posts on this forum and you could contact your IP directly via this link:

http://www.insolvencydirect.bis.gov.uk/fip1/

Karol can be contacted via this email;

ivacustomerservices@uk.gt.com and ensure that "IVA Forum" is all that is entered in the subject line of the email.

They have a lot on their plates with cases that they inherited from other IP firms which may be causing problems - and I can certainly recommend using Karol's services as she has assisted many GT clients who have sought to complain about their services on the forum.

GT did not "inherit" cases from other firms - they bought the portfolios of other firms for not inconsiderable amounts of cash, presumably with a view to making sizeable profits.

Operating within a regulated industry, they should be obliged to ensure they have sufficient staff resources to be able to cope with the extra workload following the acquisition.

If it were operating in a normal commercial environment, a company acquiring another business but failing to properly service their customers post acquisition, would see those customers quickly migrating to another supplier. Unfortunately people in an IVA do not have the luxury of being able to sack their IP on the grounds of poor service.
