Would the cost of the lessons affect your ability to fund your contractual IVA payments?

no just that i have a review and see it as another expense

already paying 489 a month and 80+ for driving lessons might equal out any increase etc

Your IP may allow you to pay for the lessons if there is a compelling reason why your wife needs to drive. Is she in an IVA as well?

no she isn't in the iva,
and has been unable to drive on medical grounds for a few years and now has been having lessons, she has a chance to help a friend out in her cleaning business and if she could drive it would help out in the long run

Sorry to take so long to get back to you on this Denver. I've been away for a couple of days. If you could demonstrate that the cost of the driving lessons could result in an eventual higher disposable income as it makes your wife more employable, it is possible that they would be allowed - but as with all queries which are case specific you should run this by your own IP.
