I made my last payment in Dec 2011, expected to receive completion certificate within 6 months. It is now 10 months later and I am totally fed up. Grant Thornton blame claims broker and they blame grant Thornton yet nobody seems to realise this is my life they are messing with. Can't get any response from Grant Thornton other than confirmation of receiving my email and they'll be in touch. Surely it's not morally right to take so long to complete when I have made every payment on time and in full for 5 years. Please sort it out ....

As a profession we are currently taking legal advice as to whether an IVA can be closed whilst claims for mis-sold PPI are ongoing. If clarification is reached on this soon, our regulators will issue guidance notes which may speed up your own particular closure. In the meantime, do keep enquiring of both parties as to what progress is being made.

Good Morning Est2680,

I hope you are well.

I would be grateful if you could email me at ivacustomerservices@uk.gt.com quoting "IVA Forum" in the subject line including your case code. Upon receipt I will review your case and liaise with Claimsbroker in an attempt to resolve this issue.

Kind Regards

Karol

We are waiting for our completion from GT. We feel we can't start to rebuild our lives and get on with enjoying life again. This is hanging over like a black cloud and should not be allowed to take so long. We have not been mis sold ppi or anything like that but you can bet they delay completion until they have exhausted every avenue. Hope you get it sorted soon. x
