We are halfway through year 5. We provided details of what similar houses were selling for locally and have heard from DFD that we are not being asked to remortgage as not enough equity. We have the clause in our agreement that there will be further 12 months unless less that £5000 equity. Who decides if its less than £5000 as we only provided values for similar properties? Does anyone know how to contact DFD IP direct as its impossible to get through on phone and feel like we are in limbo!

that link should help you find the direct details of your IP.

not good to feel in limbo. I got a valuation from a local estate agent of my property they emailed it to me and my IP accepted this as proof. Hope you get in contact soon and get the answers you need.

A direct e-mail is probably the best approach as you know that they will see this. You will need to source a valuation for your own property, as those for similar properties will be unreliable.

Why are you not able to get through to DFD on the phone?

I think they must be really busy with inbound calls at the moment. Try the e-mail, and make sure you let your IP know you have been having difficulties contacting them.
