Hi all

I just checked my experian credit report via Credit expert to see if my file had been updated.
My IVA completed last October, it took ages to receive the closure certificate from GTUK - that came November 6th.
I checked the public records and my IVA entry was removed.
My IVA started in September 2006.
On my Credit file however there is a highlighted entry that states - You have an outstanding public record - it mentions the IVA and the date etc.
Should this be visible still?
Please advise if I can get this removed or if it has to remain even though the IVA has completed and it was over 6 years since the start.

Cheers :)

Forgot to mention - all of my creditor related debts have been removed from my file - GTUK advised me they had sent copied of my certificate to my creditors.
I'm just surprised the IVA is still showing despite my name no longer being on the public records list online.

Dilbrain, your IVA record SHOULD have gone as well. You may have to forward a copy of your CC to the 3 CRAs. Are you off the Insolvency Register?

Dilbrain,

I have just had exactley the same thing happen with Experian....Public Record Outstanding when it should have disappeared on 24 Nov. I phoned them up and they said it was because they hadn't got an end date ie had not recieved copy CC, they told me to send a copy of it to them and they would sort it. I did and got a response saying they would to reply to me within 2 weeks. 1 week later I had an email saying it had been updated and deleted. So yes scan and email your CC in if you can and it will soon be sorted.....also check the other 2 Equifax and Call Credit. As at last week I am green all round, no defaults and no public records anywhere :)
