Good luck both of you. Am on tenterhooks myself as should be hearing any minute about ours. Foolishly I forgot to sign in all the places in my haste to post the proposal back, which has extended things by a few more days.

Im going to now and forget about it which is difficult when im getting blasted with letters emails and phonecalls from creditors but im just not answering the phone to them! Im hoping my proposal is a good one 43p/£1 butI imagine that they will try knocking down some of our expenditure somewhere. Fingers crossed for the both of us x

We have interlocking joint Iva's (think that's right?) 17p in the £ and yes we have areas of higher expenditure but we have 4 kids x it is a simple case with us if the creditors don't accept our proposals then we will be going bankrupt it doesn't scare us anymore - they either want some money or not (they'd get very little in bankruptcy) just want to try and do the right thing at the end of the day and yes it may be little compared to what we borrowed or should say our ex's borrowed but at least were trying x fed up of being scared by creditors and there empty threats (one creditor said I'd go to prison for being in debt) at the end of the day if creditors hadnt have handed out credit willy nilly im pretty sure half of us wouldnt be in this boat - it works both ways were not just to blame x
I hope I havent offended anyone with what ive said but it is my opinion and it is what I now believe and after many years of being bullied by these creditors enough is enough x
Good luck everyone and here's hoping to a smooth ride for everyone

x

You sound so strong and possitive Spanna1310 - could do with abit rubbing off on me we are doing an interlocking IVA too I am terrified our dividend is 14p in the £ so very low unfortuantely most of the debt is in my name only about 5k in my hubbys and I am scared they will try and force him into a DMP which will mean both of our IVA proposals will fail and ultimately we would also have to both declare Bankrupt as we would be paying our debt back for 20 years scares the hell out of me we have no equity in our home at the moment feels like the longest couple of months ever... I am sure you will not of offended anyone it is your opinion and I agree completely that the creditors are far from blameless. Good Luck the 22nd will be here before you know it:) xx
