Hi there, I made my final IVA payment in November 2011, yes 2011! & still haven't had my completion certificate, I'm having nightmare with DFD and keep getting excuses. First it was the VAT issue And now it's PPI! Can anyone tell me how I can get my certificate as I feel totally frustrated that this debt is still hanging over my head 15months since it finished.

Ah you and me both my friend
I'm badgering them everyday. Have you had PPI paperwork to fill in?

They have sent the wrong paperwork but to be honest I'm not want to claim it through a company as they charge crazy fees just like DFD, I'd rather do it myself, although if they'd have closed my IVA 15mths ago I wouldn't have to go through all the PPI hassle!
I appreciate your situation, it's so b***** frustrating, I thought my dealings with DFD would end when my IVA did but they just keep dragging it out:(

Yeah, I was hoping all of this business would be over for me now too, mine finished in April 2012. 15 months is a ridiculous amount of time you must be up the wall with it
I feel as if they are fobbing me off constantly too, but tell you what they would soon have been on the phone if we had missed a payment! Grrrrrrrr DFD.

Absolutely!!! I've told them I am going to write a final response letter and give them 28 days to get my certificate to me, if they don't reply then financial ombudsman here I come!!! If I'd have just gone bankrupt or come to an agreement with my creditors I wouldn't be in this mess! I wish I knew then what I know now! I would have never agreed to it, it was not the right solution for me as I had no assets or mortgage! Maybe I'll hassle them for mid-selling it! See how they like it!
Although I wish no one was going through the same thing, I'm glad I'm not the only one DFD annoy!

Know what you mean, did you get a response to any complaint letters? They aren't even answering my emails, admittedly my emails are daily
as are my phone calls. However I am logging everything in order to complain to FO. Good luck and please let us know how you get on and what works (if anything!) and I'll do the same. Chin up, we WILL get there

Will do! Good luck to you aswell:-) I'm sure if enough of us should lous enough they'll hear us and have to do something!!! We'll that's what I'm telling myself! Lol
