Just got my latest credit report from annual credit report and there must be 20 searches on there by noddle, a couple per month from last january onwards. Anyone else noticed this?

I dont know but I am thinking of cancelling noddle. I have emailed them to ask why they need to perform so many searches as it looks really bad!!

i only have one search a month done by Noddle which seems to tie in more or less with the date my file is updated each month

But why is a credit reference agency performing a search at all?? Dont creditors pass the info to them?

Is this because they are trying to find me suitable products therefore credit check me constantly?

on investigation it does state that lenders will not see the searches made by call credit. Each month there is a consumer credit file request and an administration review??

just tried to check mine and forgotten my username! sent for a reminder but it hasn't come so had to email them! doh!

Don't worry these are not credit searches and only show up when you look, they just show that a monthly credit report was produced, lenders only see credit searches so these will in no way affect your credit score. The audit is nothing to worry about, just means an additional check was made for one reason or another, again as its not a credit check it won't be visible.

The reason that they add them is so that you can see if anyone else has tried to access your report as an anti fraud measure.

Cheers mattyboy. I have emailed to query the admin checks every month showing as an extra check. Just looking at reason why my annualcreditreport score went down this time and lots of searches by noddle got me thinking!!
