Firstly I have watched this forum with minimal interaction but it has been brilliant.
Payplan are my IP and they have also been very good.
I have made all my payments and on the 11th of February 2013 I was able to make my final payment via debit card and cancelled by standing order.
Payplan have confirmed my final payment but I'm still awaiting my letter.
The only issue I have is that Payplan are refusing to give me any idea of timescales on the CC, they are being totally non commital. I mentioned the forum and mentioned that on the forums it is clear I should get some form of CC timescale.
How can I get this when no one will commit?
Payplan have said I literally sit and wait now.
What do I do, if anything?

I should add that on speaking to Tracy at Payplan that it sounded like they have previously had complaints from not hitting expectations on dates given.

Hi and welcome to the forum with your first posting!
Well done on completion, unfortunately, so many posts these days are about delayed completion certificates. Having said that though, some receive theirs in a timely fashion. Has PPI been dealt with?
Hope your certificate is received soon.

Hi Leslie,
Thanks for coming back to me. They've confirmed nothing outstanding.

Paul, just to manage your expectations (unfortunately) there are many people waiting for 6, 9, and upto 12 months for theirs. I agree Payplan have been very good in my case also but have slipped up a little at the final hurdle. I'm told they are gaining some traction in clearing backlog ..

If it's confirmed as nothing due from PPI then I can't see why they will delay completion. I would stay in contact with them regularly and hopefully they'll get this out to you soon.

Personally, I'd be over the moon that I've made my final payment and not be too concerned about how long it will take to receive your CC.
However, the length of time it takes to receive the CC is an issue, but from this forum, seems to be with people who have outstanding PPI and VAT issues. If you have none, you should receive your certificate within two months. That's what PayPlan have told me and I can’t see why they can’t tell you the same. There are no hard and fast rules as to regards to how long it takes, but I’m sure they want to get it sorted as quickly as you do.
Anywho, enjoy your debt fee life!

From the impression I got from Payplan they are recovering from the VAT issues and allocating these refunds to accounts. Sounds as if their refund from HMRC wasn't plain sailing.

Fair play to Gemma we are now talking via email on the PayPlan Plus system.
I will keep everyone updated on timescales.
Even rough ones would be good.

Hi cunningstunt. Welcome to the forum. I'm with Payplan too, and have been waiting for over 7 months for my CC. They will continue to stonewall you, and I got no further with Gemma who was also none committal. They won't even tell me what they have done with my money, and if my F & F has been paid over to my creditors. Calling or emailing on a regular basis will probably get you nowhere, as they "are working hard to clear the backlog, and will update you as soon as they can" The exact same mantra I've been hearing over and over. Sorry Sebastian, but I am very concerned about having not received my CC, which renders my arrangement open despite my creditors accepting my F & F on the 7/7/2013. I am unable to move forward in various aspects of my life due to this, and it's simply not good enough - especially when they won't disclose to me where my many 1,000's of £'s have gone.
Cunningstunt - I sincerely hope that you can get more detailed information from them than I have ever been able to achieve. x

If none receipt of your completion certificate is stopping you moving forward, then you need to inform payplan of this. I am sure that if you perserve you will speed things up.

Hi Rich - I assume you've responded to my post. There is nothing more I can say to them to have the fullest understanding of my situation - trust me. When I use the term "stonewalled" - that's exactly what I am getting. Thanks anyway. x

Gilli,
Did you recieve a letter about your final payment?
What does it say and does it help clear your credit record?

Hi cunningstunt. I don't have it immediately to hand, but the jist of it was that it confirmed that I had satisfied the terms of my arrangement, and I did not need to make any further payments. Only the CC will eventually help me to clear my credit record. x
