I have been in an IVA for 3 years and a few months ago I received a letter from my IVA company about PPI, if I have any successful claims will this reduce the term of my IVA?

Welcome PM.
Afraid not. It will just increase the creditors dividend.

6 years after the date of IVA, you'll find things a great deal easier. The self repair of your CRA files should take place very soon after the 6th anniversary. Until then, it could be tricky to get mainstream borrowing. In any case, there is no chance whilst still in an IVA. PM, the remaining 3 years will fly by, but one benefit of this PPI communication is at least you can get it done and it should be concluded by the time your IVA is over. This may accelerate the issue of your CC. All the best.
