Well my F & F was accepted yesterday so I wanted to write a personal note about McCambridge Duffy and how I have found their service.

Its easy to find bad reviews about companys because people dont really see the point in commending someone or sommething for doing good, however, for anyone about to start their journey or if you are already on your journey I believe you have to accept there will be good and bad times and it will then come down to your relationship with your IVA company.

I certainly had the odd "bad time" BUT McCambridge Duffy were always at the end of a phone or an email to discuss and to help me get an understanding on situations and sometimes why things just "had to be that way" or just to point me in the right direction, but I felt like we always worked as a team to find a solution that worked.

I cnanot praise the team highly enough, with their expert knowledge, their help and understanding and how they made me feel at ease that I could discuss this very scarey matter with them.

If anyone reading this and is wondering if they should approach McCambridge Duffy then my advise would be YES, this is notbecause my F & F was accepted, my previous questions and comments on this forum should prove that, you should see i did have problems but these problems were dealt with professionaly, quickly and amicably and I really could not have asked for anything else.

For the person I consider my "personal advisor" at Duffys:
We may have had a couple of ups and downs but I would not have got to this point without you, thank you for being so understanding when I may have lost it and for being so helpful when I really felt everything was going wrong for me. Your advise and assistance was greatly appreciated.

For Michael (The Peeps ) at Duffys:
From day one I feel I have met a true gentleman and I feel I have made a really great aquaintance ( mate ), your knowledge is second to none and you seriously made this journey so much easier to travel along.....not once did I feel I was on this journey on my own and I feel like we have a great bond which will last for many years to come - amazing as you are into Barry Manilow and Leeds United whilst I like current music and Tottenham Hotspur - pride of North london.
On a seriuous note, thank you and all the team at McCambridge Duffy and I hope you dont mind that I will stay in touch as my new journey begins.

It is always good to see credit where it is due! By the nature of this forum, people generally come here when they have a problem or are unhappy with their IP, so there will be more negative posts than positive ones.

Thanks Heretoday, it was never going to be an easy ride but they certainly made it that little bit less stressful and I think people deserve to know they are seriously a good company and nice people to work with

Excellent post, Wuffy. Thank you for taking the time to do it. It is always great to see positive feedback and I am not surprised McCD getting such, well deserved, praise (despite the mention of Mr Manilow).

There are a few firms on this forum who stand head and shoulders above the rest, and some that could be there as well, if they would follow the lead.

Great feedback and very well deserved. I will make sure that Michael gets to see this.

Many thanks for the kind words and I have passed them on and also thanks to Melanie for alerting me to the post.I too have made a friend although any more Barry Manilow libels and my lawyers will be in touch as I get enough stick for being a Leeds fan!

Enjoy being debt free and out of the IVA but as for being the pride of North London, I fear your neighbours will pip you to fourth [or even third] and it is back to Channel 5 on a Thursday next year and cold trips to Azerbailan in February......

As for Pride of North London, all I can see is there is only ONE North london side, the others are just pretenders.....and I may well be watching them on Channel five but at least I dont have to stay up till after Match of the Day on a Saturday to watch my team on TV

Sadly Foggy that may well be true, although hopefully now that Antoinette has joined them, this may improve things in that company with some proper leadership, one can only hope.

Been browsing and just found this. Ive just sent in my forms to McCambridge Duffy, and my dealings with them so far have been nothing short of excellent. My advisor is lovely, and not at all judgemental and i feel i can pick up the phone with any questions without fear of shame. Fingers crossed all will go well and i will have a great relationship with them for the next 5/6 years, but its great to read this and other positive things....makes it a little better

Hi Goffy. I am glad you have found us helpful to date and hopefully the IVA is approved quickly and without too many issues. Best of luck and let us know if and when approved.
