I completed my IVA October 2012 (settled it early). I really do need a new car (4k or 5k) as I keep throwing money at old car. Anyone know of someone who would deal with people in/were in IVA. Work full time pay phone bill on time etc of course IVA will still come up on credit search.

I believe Moneybarn come well recommended, there is another one, but the name escapes me -- I am sure someone who knows will be along shortly.

I think that you may mean Duncton Finance - which is actually part of Moneybarn in any case

Carloans4u offered me a loan , but they lend a minimum of £5000 , and it's obviously at an extortionate rate

just been looking at the faqs on carloans4u, minimum loan is £2-3000 dependant on lender. Interest from 5.9% no doubt rocket up for us iva'ers

I got a great deal with CarLoans4U. Admittedly, my IVA was no longer on my credit file.
