my wifes income is included on my iva but she has just been made redundant and is getting £10000,am i right in thinking this is her money and not the iva,s.

Is she included in the iva or is the iva yours alone? If she is not in an iva then her money is to do with as she wishes, but you should still let your ip know as without her income your share of the household expenditure will increase thus affecting your disposable income for the iva.

[8D]no she isnt on my iva just her income and hopefully she will get a job soon.

Hi

If she is not in an IVA then her redundancy money is hers to keep. You could consider offering a lump sum from your wife to end your IVA early

i would keep the money ,arnt they going to need some money to live on ? if she didnt find job

Absolutely hers, but may need to supplement her shortfall in income until she finds a new job
