I am currently in an IVA and my parents want to appoint me as their L.P.A.. I know that bankrupts are not allowed to be L.P.A.'s but what about when you are in an IVA

I believe that we have had several forum members appointed L.P.A in the recent past and, as far as I am aware, the IVA is not a bar.

Is this a check with the IP thing, I have just spotted this thread and have LPA papers on my desk for a member of my family.

How come bankruptcy interferes with it?

Doritos, there are many things a bankrupt isn't allowed to do under BR laws and handling another's financial affairs is one of them -- however this isn't applied to IVA's.
