Help... almost completed the 5th year of iva going into the last year(6yr iva) but we have seperated and now both have double the outgoings! The iva have told us to send in income and expenditure to review, they said may be possible the creditors will discharge it, as so far into iva?... anyone had this experience? really dont want it to go wrong at this stage!!

We separated in year 3. We are now in year 6. All you can do it fill in your own I/E and at all times keep in touch with the IVA firm. The worst for me is that they address all letters to my ex partner and all phone calls but it is me they want to talk to I never know whether it is me they want or him. But I am almost there now so it can be done. The worst bit will be the divorce as separating financial matters when they are so complex is a nightmare.

Hi Cilla - I have just gone through a seperation and, like you, we now have two households to run. This has, effectively, wiped out our disposable income and we have a variation in the pipeline to take payments made to date.
As it happens, due to a good first years extra payments and PPI, we are at a dividend of 31p/£ ( the original dividend was estimated at 32p/£), so, hopefully the creditors will look kindly on us.
