Do all banks have the same lending criterea when it comes to a remotgage for someone with an IVA past history.
I moved our bank account from Nationwide over to Barclays as the gave both my wife and I a full joint and 2 ISA accounts with a overdraft facility if needed.
They have even offered to sort out our credit cards (vanquis and Aqua as the are very high interest rates for a credit card with Barcleys but the are unable to offer a remortgage as the bank code of practice with Barcleys states 6 years from date of discharge before they can offer any products, are all banks like this.
I mentioned the part about Barcleys as they appear to be the only bank tbat will help but you do need your completion certificate.
Can I get a remortgage anywhere or am I stuck
