I'm claiming my own PPI's back to pay to my creditors. Barcleys are apparently refusing to pay a lot of them out. Any truth in this? They refused my friend who had to go through an ombusman and they still refused to pay the full amount and are in the process of making an offer??? Im confused because Im going to put a claim in with them myself when I get my card number details back.

they may well be reluctant to offer the full amount to begin and an ombudsman may be needed. I always thought the ombudsman could force them to pay what they feel is due.

I know its confusing. I will update this when I find out the full story and the facts but apparently Barcleys were adamant they never mis-sold most of their PPI.

They offered me £8 something for ppi that ran for nearly 2years. Eic are dealing with it ad I signed the agreement through gt to get my certificate. I'm more than happy for ppi to go in to the iva but the offer is ridiculous!

Barcleys have offered me the full amount of PPI that I paid plus interest. Surprised after they said they was making me an offer :-/ Good on them.
